Rilasciata la patch 1.0.7

In vista del torneo ESL previsto per il 15 Gennaio, Toxikk si aggiorna alla versione 1.0.7 apportando modifiche e piccoli fix in modo da rendere il gioco pronto per l’evento. Vi lascio direttamente al changelog:

01 – FEATURE: EASY MATCH HOST

Full Game Owners now can VERY easily host own matches to play with Steam friends. It requires no more complicated port forwarding shiznit on your router. Simply click “HOST GAME” in the multiplayer menu, select map and game mode and your match will become visible to all your friends in the in-game server browser.

This should be extremely helpful if you want to play against friends in your region, where you otherwise don’t get good pings to official servers. Please note that it does not work with Quick Join, as Quick Join only support official servers. Your friends can join your match through the in-game server browser, via Steam friends list, Steam invite etc. (i.e. also Free Edition players can join your match).

02 – FEATURE: EASY SERVER JOIN URL

You can now share URLs in the following format: “steam://connect/<ip>:<queryport>/<password>” for embedding it on websites etc. Your Steam client will connect you with the server right away.

03 – FEATURE: END GAME VOTING INTERMISSION

The End Game Voting Intermission now end immediately after all people alleged to vote for the next map have voted. This will reduce the post-match intermission.

04 – FEATURE: QUICK JOIN / BLOODLUST ONLY FILTER

If you use QuickJoin to find a match, you can now set a “BLOODLUST ONLY” filter, which will then put you on a server with only Bloodlust (DM) maps and matches.

05 – FEATURE: HINTS AND TIPS IN MAIN MENU

The main menu now displays random hints and tips in the top right corner.

06 – FEATURE: LINKS TO LEADERBOARD

The GlobalPos and MXP indicators on the top of the main menu can now be clicked to take you directly to the display of the global leaderboard tables.

07 – FEATURE: JET PACK ACTIVATION

The Jet Pack is now triggered by a special key (default: Left CTRL), while WALK is now on LEFT-ALT key.

08 – FEATURE: ARCH RIVAL GAME SETTINGS

Combatants setting now allows you to select 1 or 2 combatants. (2 allows you to play against a bot while hosting an own match)

09 – FEATURE: SET AMOUNT OF VERSUS BOTS

You can now define the amount of hostile bots as opposed to simply setting the amount of total combatants.

10 – CHANGE: SERVER BROWSER

The ingame server browser no longer displays official servers at the top of the list by default.

11 – CHANGE: JET PACK MODIFICATIONS

The following rules apply to the handling of the jet pack: You can activate the jet pack once, before you land. You can activate it on the ground and add a mid-air jump while in the air. You can activate it after a regular jump (while in mid-air) and add another jump or you can do a double-jump and then activate the jet pack.

12 – CHANGE: SERVER BROWSER IN LAN MODE

All server browser filters are now disabled if the general connection type is set to LAN.

13 – FIX: JET-PACK CHARGES (SPECTATOR MODE)

The remaining jet-pack charges are now visible in the HUD of the spectator mode.

14 – FIX: IMPROVED HUD UPDATES (SPECTATOR MODE)

The ammo indicator in the HUD was delayed, when a spectator switched between players. This should no longer happen.

15 – FIX: RHINO CANNON (SPECTATOR MODE)

The turret on the Rhino works now as expected in spectator mode. Also, drone view fixed for players who were killed by a vehicle turret.

16 – FIX: RHINO TURRET CANNONEER BUG

The “cannoneer” of the Rhino turret often got kicked out or even killed when a team-mate driver entered an empty driver seat. This should no longer happen.

17 – FIX: CONTRACTS VIEW

In some cases, the “Contracts” menu wasn’t loaded when returning from a contract mission. This was fixed.

18 – FIX: VIDEO OPTIONS PRESET DISPLAY

The video options preset slider sometimes displayed “undefined” isntead of the proper definition. This was fixed.

19 – FIX: CONTRACTS VIEW

In some cases, the “Contracts” menu wasn’t loaded when returning from a contract mission. This was fixed.

20 – FIX: FALSE “SERVER FULL” STEAM NOTICE

It sometimes happened that servers were indicating “FULL” when they were in fact not. This prevented some players from joining these servers via QuickJoin. This should no longer happen.

21 – FIX: JOIN “LISTEN HOST” NO LONGER REQUIRES RESTART

People were only able to join a private listen host once per session. Next join required a restart of the game. This should no longer happen.

22 – FIX: STEAM SOCKETS ISSUE

A Steam socket issue that occasionally caused black screens during map travels was fixed.

23 – FIX: LAN LISTEN SERVER CRASH

LAN listen servers could crash if another local PC was searching for LAN matches. This should no longer happen.
